Sandra Diane Parker left the earth and earned her spirit wings on November 15, 2023 just 3 months shy of her 88th

birthday. 

Everyone knows her as Sandy. She was loved and admired by all and known for her knack of getting things done with her professional flair and sparkling personality. 

Sandy was a lifelong professional working woman in many administrative careers. Her first secretarial job, with Zeon Neon in Los Angeles in the 1950s, landed her the title of Miss Zeon Neon because of her statuesque beauty and personality. 

She would later become the Foundation Director at South Coast Hospital in Laguna Beach CA in the 1970s where she raised 1 million dollars for its foundation. 

Sandy was born on Feb 15 1936 in Cincinnati Ohio and moved with her parents to highland Park CA as, a young girl where she attended Franklin High School. She sang in her high school and church choir and at many weddings. She loved singing and dancing and often entered dance contests and talent shows even though due to her height she said it was hard to find a dance partner! She even got to make a record in the late 1950s. 

Sandy loved music, movies, travel, musical theater, kitties, all things glamorous and of course, champagne. 

Sandy was a long time resident of San Clemente Ca eventually settling to Lake San Marcos Ca in the mid 1990s and served on several hoa boards in her community. Still working at the age of 87 as office manager at Lake San Marcos Community Association up until her last day, still taking calls, running the office and joining in on zoom meetings from the hospital and nursing home.

She is survived by daughters Marcia Johnson and Suzanne Sweeney, her son in laws Bret Fitterer and Robert Sweeney and her 2 beloved kitties. 

Sandy will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her elegance, charm and go get 'em attitude.
